Great family Berghaus Air8 8 man inflatable tent, with Berghaus Air 8 footprint. Condition is Used but very good.

Recently re waterproofed with Fabsil silica waterproofer and tested to great effect in the Scottish Highlands. Water beads and runs off tent effortlessly.

Tent erected in minutes via a quick inflation valve at the bottom of each of the 5 AirTubes, using the supplied Berghaus Air Pump and Guage. The Air Tubes provide a very robust pitching system and means the tent is very stable once up and capable of withstanding really harsh weather when other family tents would be collapsing. Google Berghaus Air 8 tent and you will be inundated with great testimonials and videos of this highly rated tent. Tent deflated just as quickly by pressing one touch quick release valve. Tent has 2 large bedrooms, each sleeping 4 adults on camp beds, or can be further separated for privacy with the supplied room dividers.

Loads of room in the central living area and the clear windows allow plenty of light into the tent. These windows also have fitted screens for privacy. Doors and bedrooms have insect nets to maintain ventilation and stop all those nasty bugs getting in. Loads of storage pockets to keep all your nik naks close to hand, and ground sheet is fully built in to stop draughts and insects. Only flaw with tent is we found a small hole caused by previous owner in the tent sill just above the ground sheet.

This does not effect tent performance or allow passage of water into the tent as it more of a weather deflector and does not provide a direct route into tent. We repaired this neatly with McNett Tenacious tape for goretex materials. Tent is large, but fits inside its own wheeled hold-all so that its easy to move, and fits neatly in family sized car boot.
