Vango Zanzibar 600 poly cotton breathable tent in a light sage green colour fabric. Sleeps 6 in 3 double bedrooms.

Stored clean and dry since then. Diagram is original stock photo from Vango of dimensions but this doesn't include the sun canopy on front so the overall length will be more. We have an excellent feedback score and list honestly so please read carefully and look at photos.

Collection is from Hedge End, Southampton which is near to J7 of the M27. Excellent tunnel tent that you can stand upright in easily even if you are over 6ft. Three hanging bedroom compartments at back and doors at front and at both sides so plenty of air can flow through if it's really warm out. Two hanging storage pockets that hang between the front of the bedroom compartments.

Has a built in thick groundsheet but we also bought a separate Vango footprint groundsheet to go underneath. All adjustable guide ropes are working and as new and large bag of tent pegs included. This is a high quality fabric and not the usual shiny fabric. It's cheaper alternative was the Amazon 600.

There is a large canopy on the front of the tent which makes it feel even roomier. Two large side windows and front windows that have roll up curtains that store in pockets underneath. This will suit a family of five or six and has a really good sized living area.

Comes in a large wheeled bag for the tent and another bag for the poles. The poles are 2cm in diameter and made of steel so very sturdy, you will need a good sized car to transport this tent. Takes around 45 minutes to pitch by two adults and we have a Vango DVD that gives instructions on how to do so but there are also the instructions sewn into tent bag. We have just pitched the tent to check it before listing and have found that it's in excellent condition overall with no obvious stains on the fabric of the tent and still smells new and fresh!

Obviously the groundsheet that goes under the tent will have brown marks from soil and the odd bit on the edge of the built in groundsheet. We have found the following though. The two side entrance doors have a small canopy which is held out by carbon rods inserted through them. Both sides have snapped but they still work as you can see from pictures but you may wish to source replacements from Vango.

The bedroom compartments are hung up using loops and pegs, the middle and right hand bedroom are all intact but the left hand bedroom has had three snap off in the top back left corner. One is missing but the other two are there, so these will need to be stitched back on in some way or replacements bought from Vango.

We have managed to still hang it reasonably well as you can see in the pictures and it may be that this can just be fixed up in another way if you are handy with sewing! This is minor but we would prefer to say.

The only other thing to note is on all bedroom compartments at the top of the back there is tearing of the mesh vents from the fabric. Minor again and shown in photos but this has inevitably happened due to the way these pods are made and the fact you place the weight of airbeds and bodies inside which move about and pull the fabric. Grab a bargain, you will not be disappointed and if you prefer to pitch it in our garden first then we are happy to assist with this. Smoke free home, no dogs/cats.
