Alpkit Soloist X-Large, Lightweight, Compact, Easy-Pitch, Free-Standing Tent. REASON FOR SALE:- I bought this on a pre-order last August, but it wasn`t dispatched till the 25th of September (2020), and by the time Spring 2021 had arrived and I was planning to go off camping, I`d invested in a Chinese-made tent of the type that uses hiking poles for it`s upright supports, so being as I already owned too many other tents, this Soloist then became surplus to requirements.

It`s been stored sealed in it`s plastic outer bag so as to keep it completely dust-free, so it`s still in brand new (Completely unused) pristine condition. MY DESCRIPTION:- A fantastic little tent for one person. Very light at 1.3kg, with an incredibly small pack size, and when pitched, the tent only takes up a very narrow area on the ground, so it will pitch in many small flat strips where most other tents just could not fit.

The perfect shelter for a bike-packing or a back-packing, or any adventure where the need to save weight and bulk is a priority. It has a one-piece lightweight alloy pole system, and ultra-light alloy ground pegs.

A hanging point inside the tent for a small lantern or your head torch Etc. The inner tent has a high solid wall to keep out the draughts, but it also has a good amount of ultra-fine mesh which aids breath-ability and helps to reduce the rick of a condensation build up on the inside wall of the fly-sheet / outer tent. Because it`s an inner-pitch first tent, in fine dry weather, it can be used on it`s own as a stand alone bug-mesh tent, enabling you to admire the stars on clear rain-free nights without being pestered by midges, ticks and mosquitoes Etc. I would recommend that you cut and shape a cheap plastic woven tarp to put underneath the inner tent, so as to help protect the underside of the tent`s built-in bath-tub ground-sheet from possible sharp thorns and stones Etc.
