Conway Camborne 400DL Trailer Tent 6 berth large tent. Due to a timewaster who failed to pay or communicate intentions, this tent is relisted. This is a large family tent.

I think it was the biggest trailer tent Conway made. It has been used for many great family holidays in the UK, in all weathers. Being good quality thick canvas it keeps you cooler when hot, and warmer in the cool nights. The inner roof linings help with this insulation too.

It has a huge living space which is great when you're all in during an evening or on a rainy day. There's two double beds in the trailer itself and two inner tents under the beds. There are storage lockers under the edge of the double beds. The kitchen includes a sink, double gas hob and grill, with drawers and storage space. There is a waste tank to put below the sink waste pipe.

The half-hexagon shape to the front gives triangle structure to the front roof sections and makes it extremely stable. We have rarely felt the need for guylines, except for in the strongest gales. When the front and side panels are rolled up in hot weather it makes for a gazebo effect. It is 4.4m wide and 6.2m long. The living space alone is 4.4m wide and 4m deep.

The trailer comes with spare wheel underneath. It is used and there are some minor imperfections. The'lid' that closes down on the cooker has come loose from its rivets and so lifts off rather than standing upright as the sink lid does. One of the poles needs a new spring button.

They can be bought cheaply. I just slotted a short nail/screw in to hold it in place last summer. There is a slight dent on the rear section by the rear lights where I nudged the workbench in the garage.

Stain in corner of floor of trailer from storage of rusting gas cylinder. Some of the elastic/rubbers are starting to wear through. The waterproof cover of the closed trailer has a small patch repair where someone damaged it. Includes manual with instructions for putting up the tent.
