The classic, original iteration of what is currently the "Zirkon 7 CP". 7 man, poly-cotton, nylon skirted lavvu. Made in Moskosel, Swedish Lapland. Well used, intermittently, and well loved over the best part of two decades. Weather stained and in need reproofing.

Although it does still shed torrential downpour's. It could probably use a clean too, we're not equipped for such an undertaking, us living in a bush n all. Was re-proofed a little over 5 years back, but has served hard since then.

All, canvas, nylon skirt, zips, webbing, mesh door, fibreglass struts and whatnot, 100% in tact. The PU backing of the nylon is grand. The aluminium pole is fire tarred, as should be, but not tacky. Would be good to go if you wanted to show it off in a hurry. Some pegs will be missing, I bent two hurrying it up for the photo opportunity.

Suffering an embarrassingly flaccid, displeasing erection, in the ominous grace of a blowey sw Scottish peninsulas spring best. So please forgive the poor performance on display. Materially, damn close to optimal.

I've tried to grab as many angles in the (action) shots, none of them brilliant descriptors, but yeah, the warts are purely superficial. Soap, a soft brush and a hose will bring this canvas back to all it ever was. No mildew present, and none expected, smoked innit, the ages old preservative. A recent final wet season of under tree drips did feed a little algal bloom in spots. So yeah, it's smudgy, and could do with putting back in finest fettle.

But that wouldn't be an ordeal for one so inclined. (with scope for you to beg some minor indulgence???? Those folks are part of a more familiar bushcraft circle. The picture selection here is rubbish, sorry.
