Brand new for 2025 is the Vango Sorrento 600XL, a large vis-à-vis style family tent ideal for short getaways in the summer and perfect for entry-level campers. A set of five fibreglass poles creates a large tunnel frame, with a three berth'Lights Out' Bedroom on either side, a darkened material which helps reduce early morning or late evening light, a great feature when camping with children as it creates a better sleep environment. A large living space separates the bedrooms, with a fully sewn-in groundsheet to stop insects or water from getting inside the tent. Two main entry doors, along with one mesh panel door and several mesh panels around the tent help reduce condensation, creating a more comfortable living environment.

The Sorrento features an eco-friendly 68 denier polyester, made with recycled plastics giving you a tough, durable yet lightweight flysheet that's perfect for any eco-conscious camper. Waterproofed to 3,000mm which means you'll have peace of mind if you're caught out during wet weather, though for a tent such as the Sorrento, we don't recommend usage during pro-longed heavy rain or storms, as this can potentially damage the flysheet and weaken the waterproof coating, increasing risk of leaks and tears. Don't let this discourage you, as the Sorrento will provide more than enough protection for any summer drizzle. Perfect for a family of four, particularly those wanting a budget friendly, lightweight, quick and easy to pitch tent, intended for use throughout the summer months when weather is expected to be fair.

The Sorrento can be pitched in less than 20 minutes, and can be pitched solo if needed. It's lightweight fabric ensures an overall lightweight package, and an oversized carry bag means less drama when it comes to packing away. Always ensure any tent packed away in wet conditions is re-pitched at home to allow to fully dry before being packed away for a long period of time.
