Outwell Sun Valley 6 Tent

  

We bought this tent when the children were younger, but have not made as much use out of it as we had planned - teenagers now they have done loads of camping through Scouts, Cadets and Duke of Edinburgh but mostly using our numerous other smaller tents. Since we have now moved onto a Motorhome it is time to find a new owner who can make good use of what is an excellent family tent. The tent has a central large living area that is great for sitting inside out of the weather or in the evening. It can easily accommodate a table and chairs and the height make it feel spacious.

The bed room compartments sleeps 6 people, it can be made into one big space or two separate compartments. For adults/teenagers who want some space/separation then two people in each compartment is quit roomy. We have in the past also put up a pop up tent in living area (to have 3 bedrooms) and still had plenty of space in the living area. The sleeping areas have good ventilation so feels airy and have fly screens to keep the bugs out. The exterior is made from a double coated polyethylene material with taped joints, so its very waterproof.

The tent goes up in the traditional way with poles, ropes, and pegs (not air blown-up type), but it is very secure in the wind - which is comforting when its blowing a gale or pouring rain. The tent is relatively (given the size) easy to put up and take down, best done with two people, but folding away so it goes easily into the bag is a bit of an art (the waterproofing makes it difficult to get the air out) but once you learn how to it straight forward. The tent has large window to the living area which have blinds the can be closed to keep it private or opened to bring in lots of light.

It has two side doors and one at the front which can be opened like an awning to provide shelter from the sun but giving great ventilation. We have owned the tent from new, its been packed away properly each time, comes with everything it came with originaly, and I have included the mallet we bought for it to benefit the next owner. To the best of my knowledge it is complete and without any damage excluding some marks from the soil/grass where it comes into contact with the ground. If you have any questions then please ask?
