Vango Vesta Air 850XL (TN632)

  

A Vis-a-vis style family air tent, that boasts excellent space and features, ideal for long term use in the spring and summer season, finished in the Moroccan blue shade commonly found on Vango's Earth Collection tents. Like all of Vango's Earth Collection tents, the Vesta is made using recycled single-use plastics, perfect for the eco-conscious camper and features the Single Point Inflation valve, allowing you to inflate the whole tent from just one valve located on the central beam, while this will usually take a little longer than inflating each beam individually, it does make the process much more streamlined, and is better suited for electric pumps, allowing you to sit back and relax while the pump goes to work. The Vesta is essentially a'mirror image' tunnel tent, two large bedrooms sit either side of the tent, with a spacious living area separating the two. One entrance sits either side, one side uses a small rain cover that creates a great shelter when entering or exiting the tent during wet weather. A partially sewn-in groundsheet covers the important areas of the tent, whilst also allowing you to drop the entrance/exit doors down which reduces the likelihood of trips, and creates better access for wheelchairs, prams or moving storage in and out of the tent.

Each bedroom inner is made with Vango's'Midnight' fabric, their darkest material to date, which retains great breathability, whilst also reducing early morning or late evening light, perfect for young children or adults who prefer to sleep in longer. Each side is split down the middle, allowing two campers a side, making it perfect for small families preferring extra space, or as designed, can comfortably sleep up to eight people. Like many other Vango tents, the Vesta comes with a host of classic features, such as the Tension Band System (TBS) designed to stabilise the tent during windy weather, as well as the Skytrack system, which allows you to hang lights or lightweight storage along the beams, along with those already mentioned, like the Single Point Inflation valve and the Midnight Bedroom Inners. The Vesta has a very airy, light environment inside, due in part to the Skylight windows that can be covered by zipped up curtains during the night, but opened and rolled up during the day to allow extra light into the living space, creating a more comfortable, open feel to your living space. The Vesta is simple to pitch, and when using the SPI, can be pitched in as little as 15 minutes.

The oversized carry bag allows for easier packing and can just as easily be stored when not in use. The Vesta also comes with a footprint groundsheet, which we recommend using every time as it will create an extra barrier between you and the ground, and keep the sewn-in groundsheet on your Vesta clean and dry, as well as protecting it and prolonging its life. A carpet and additional side awning can also be added to the Vesta, but as the Vesta is now a discontinued model, it may take some tracking down to the find any.

Utilises Vango's popular 70 Denier polyester fabric, which is treated with ColourLok to deter fading, slowing UV degradation. Further to this, the Earth collection is manufactured with recycled, single-use plastics, woven into polyester. The Single-Inflation Point is a brilliant innovation from Vango, allowing it to be inflated from one individual beam. This ensures a smooth pitching process, and you can still separately inflate each beam manually, if necessary. I Pro system ensures if you are unlucky enough to encounter a deflation, only the singular beam will deflate allowing you to either find a temporary solution or replace just the 1 beam.

Vango's darkest bedrooms, help minimise early morning light and help to get the children to sleep easier. The bedrooms are also fully breathable and have a fire-retardant design. Large PVC skylights offer unrivalled light into the living space or offer a great view of the stars at night.

The skylight windows can be covered via a large roof curtain panel. Tension Band System II: Designed to aid greater stability in windy conditions, by creating a triangular structure with internal bands, which clip to the roof panel. Fabric: 70 denier Sentinel Eco Fabric.
